I think just like kissing, flirting is the start of fornication if your not married. We often hear the saying "One thing lead to another" and I think it begins with what it said and how its sad. Flirting is fun but I think its dangerous. Thanks for asking the question.
Kissing is not the issue for me. Who is doing the kissing, what type of kissing is more the issue. If the kissing is being done by unmarried people is selacious or sexually inspired then it would be wrong for persons not married to ea h other.
Flirtations make impressions. What is the purpose of the flirtation except to create impressions and/or implications. In general I think they should be avoided. At the same time, two single people attracted to each other may just have a measure of flirtation between them. This is how they signal their interest in each other. In that case, it is each of their responsibility to be sure their actions do not dishonor God.
